As business owners, we become very accustomed to doing everything oursevles. But there are certain things that you should absolutely consider hiring out, even from day one.
Think about hiring an accountant to file your taxes each year. The last thing you want as a business owner is to have the IRS after you for not paying taxes because you didn't know how to file properly. You may even want to consider hiring a bookkeeper for the month-to-month management of your books. At a minimum, you should use accounting software to manage your business finances and keep copies of everything you may need for an audit, including checks and receipts.
When you are beginning to prepare your contracts, hire an attorney. Make the investment up front to ensure you are setting things up properly. It could save you an immense amount of time, money and aggravation in the long run.
What are some other areas where you plan to outsource in order to get (and keep) your business running smoothly?
